Real Time vs Cuban Time

One of the questions that has eluded mankind for centuries, is there a difference between regular time and Cuban time?

Regular time is customary and typical.  Regular time is balanced and harmonious.  An example would be if you were to meet someone at 12 noon you meet that person at 12 noon.  Nothing mysterious or complicated at all.  Cuban time, on the other hand, is abnormal.  Unconventional and extremely disorderly.  An example would be if you were to meet someone at 12 noon and you showed up from 12:30 to 1:45 pm give or take a few minutes.  On Cuban time it is not necessary to apologize.  You simply tell the person you are on Cuban time and thought they were too.  The fact that the vast majority of people operate on regular time is insignificant to the person on Cuban time.  In the realm of all things normal and sane, Cuban time takes preference over logic.  The best advice I can give you if you are meeting a person who operates on Cuban time.  Simply don't show up.
